Jasbon Andrade

Jasbon Andrade is a student at Christ English Medium School in Bangalore. He is studying in the seventh standard and is also very good in sports.

Christ School includes many sports activities throughout the year in their academic program. This year, in the name of their founder Blessed Chavara, Christ School organized inter-school soccer tournaments. A number of neighboring schools participated in the tournaments and Christ School won the championship and was awarded the Gold Medal.

Our young soccer player, Jasbon Andrade, was Christ School’s team captain and was recognized as the best player of the 2004-2005 tournaments. In addition to that honor he also won the Gold Medal in the 100 meter, Silver in the 200 meter, and the Bronze in the 4 ¸100 meter relay. When I asked him, during my recent visit, what his future goal in life was he said he wanted to be a great soccer player someday. May God make his dream a reality!

Jasbon was born April 10, 1992. He is the son of Jerald and Janet Andrade of Nagermutt , Barkur , who settled in Bangalore years ago. He has an older brother, Jason, who was born February 9, 1989. Jason enjoys his studies and ranks first in his class. He also participates in their school’s Indian Airforce Training Camp. This year he will take the S.S.L.C. exam conducted by the Karanatka State Education Department.

I am proud of my two nephews, Jasbon and Jason, and congratulate their parents for the ongoing support and guidance they provide their beloved sons.
