OBITUARY
Christopher Fernandes, (Barkur) Brahmavar
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher Fernandes, aged 60 years, who peacefully went to his eternal rest on August 21, 2025.
Christopher was the beloved son of the late Severin Fernandes and the late Antony Fernandes of Hosala, Barkur Parish. He was the devoted husband of Meera Quadros, loving father of Candida/Stephen Rodrigues and Chrystal, and cherished grandfather of Sachielle. He is survived by his siblings Patrick, late Cynthia D'Souza, Melvin, Dalton, Cramer, Sharmila Lewis, and Shalini D'Souza.
Christopher had been residing in Brahmavar Holy Family Parish for the past few years. He was an active member of CYM (Catholic Youth Movement) Barkur, where he also served as President and rendered valuable service to the community.
Funeral Cortege leaves his residence on August 23, 2025, at 4:00 PM at his residence for Holy Mass: 4:30 PM at Brahmavar Church followed by the burial.
We pray for the eternal rest of his soul and ask for God's comforting embrace for his grieving family during this difficult time.
