From our shared moments in Barkur to witnessing your unyielding drive, you've always been the one who turns dreams into reality, just as you pioneered Udupi's first computerized wheel alignment at JAE's Wheel Masters back in 1998.
Born in the serene embrace of Kachhur, Barkur, as the youngest son of Agnes and Joseph JB Carvalho, you carried the spark of innovation from your early days at Maryknoll and National Junior College, culminating in your polytechnic graduation in 1997. Who could have imagined that young visionary would build an empire of trust and excellence, partnering with giants like Goodyear and Michelin, expanding to Brahmavar, and relocating with grace amid highway challenges. Celebrating 25 years of JAE's in 2023 was a testament to your dedication, but it's the personal touch—your cool demeanor, the loyalty of recurring customers, and the state-of-the-art service on NH 66 in Kinnimulky—that truly sets you apart.
Yet, beyond the businessman, it's the man with a melody in his heart that I cherish most. Your days as CYM Barkur's president, lighting up stages with skits and songs, and leading The Expressions cultural group— from "Expressions 2000" to becoming its president for second term in 2019, leading Lions Club Kallianpur as its President—reveal a soul deeply rooted in community and creativity.
And then there's your beautiful love story with Sushma, blossoming over a decade before your wedding on September 26, 2004. As you both share the same birthday, what touches my heart deepest are those romantic duets you sing together. Your voices blending so perfectly, nightingale-sweet and full of love, have created magic that still echoes. Those special performances, captured and shared on social media, have crossed 100k views and more—proof that your harmony isn't just beautiful, it's unforgettable. Watching you both harmonize in duets and now as proud parents to Vishwas Lloyd, Mahima Josephine and the child prodigy Gaurav John who've grown into remarkable young adults, fills me with joy.
