The parish marked the 'Seventh Global Sunday of the Word of God' on Sunday, January 25, 2026, with a special celebration organized by the Holy Bible Commission.
This year's theme, drawn from St. Paul's letter to the Colossians—"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly" (Colossians 3:16)—set the tone for the day's observance. During the Holy Mass, the congregation prayed for the Word of God to abundantly fill their communities and hearts.

Parish Vicar Fr. Ronald Miranda delivered an opening message on the significance of Sacred Scripture, stressing that every Christian home should have two essential items on its altar: a cross and a Holy Bible. The Mass was concelebrated by Fr. Tony Andrade and Fr. Victor D'Souza.
In his homily, Fr. Tony Andrade reflected on the transformative influence of the Holy Bible on daily life and faith.

The celebration began with a solemn procession as members of the Bible Commission, led by Convener Mr. Dolphy D'Souza, reverently carried the Holy Bible to the altar, where it was honored with flowers and candles. The liturgy was coordinated by Mr. Dolphy D'Souza along with Commission members, with support from Parish Pastoral Council Coordinator Mr. Joseph Fernandes.
The observance highlighted the parish's commitment to deepening its relationship with Scripture and allowing God's Word to take root in the community.
