BARKUR: A prize distribution ceremony was held today at the Barkur Shri Pattabhirama Chandra Kalyana Mantapa to felicitate winners of the Muddu Krishna competition across all categories. The event was organized jointly by Seva Sangama Shri Narayana Guru Shishu Mandira Badana Goli Barkur, Rotary Club Barkur, Anns Club Barkur, Nammuru Barkur Facebook Group, and Shourya Disaster Management Unit Barkur.
Winners from all categories were honored with cash prizes along with commemorative plaques. The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Mrs. Kishori Shetty, President of Rotary Club Barkur.
The event was attended by several distinguished guests including Dr. Kashinath Pai Vishwastha of Seva Sangama Trust, Sri B. Sudhakar Rao, Sri Sandeep Pujari (Temple contractor), Vidhwan Sri Damodara Sharma, Sri Ashok C Poojari (President, Koti Chennaya Billava Seva Trust Barkur), Sri Subramanya Poojari (President, Swagat Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Barkur), Sri Ganesh Shetty B (Swadeshi Ayurveda Barkur), Sri Harish Acharya (President, Lions Club Karavali Udupi), Sri Krishna G Pujari (President, Seva Sangama Shri Narayana Guru Shishu Mandira), and Sri Manjunath Poojari (Representative, Shourya Unit Barkur).
Also present were Rotarian Sudarshan Udup (Secretary, Rotary Club Barkur), Mrs. Purnima S (Secretary, Anns Club Barkur), Sri Anand Kumar (Nammuru Barkur Facebook Group), Mrs. Jahnavi A. Pujari (Supervisor, Narayana Guru Shishu Mandira), Sri Ganesh Acharya (Treasurer, Narayana Guru Shishu Mandira), Sri Keerthiprasad Kuradi, Mrs. Gauri V Pujari (Mataji), Mrs. Tulasi (Saha Mataji), along with members of Rotary Club Barkur, Anns Club, Shourya Unit members, children and parents from the Shishu Mandira, and members of the public.
