Konkani Bhasha Mandal Goa has announced its Literary Awards for the year 2020 and Masaam, a collection of stories written by Antony Barkur has bagged the Prestigious Narasimha Damodar Nayak Memorial Literary award.
Antony Prakash DSouza or Antony Barkur as he is known in the Literary world hails from Moodahadu Kudru from Barkur. His debut publication of a collection of poetry won Karnataka Konkani Sahithya Academy Award and now his debut publication of the collection of short stories bagged the Konkani Bhasha Mandal Goa award for literature shows his literary capabilities and needs no further introduction.
The award will be conferred on Antony on 30th September at 5 pm in an online program organised by KBM Goa as announced by Anwesha Singhbal , the President of Konkani Bhasha Mandal Goa.
