Barkuru – A special felicitation ceremony was organized at the Arya Challengers platform during the ongoing Rajdhani Trophy 2025, held under the patronage of Barkuru Boys at Simhasana Gudde Grounds. The event recognized and honored accomplished individuals from various fields for their remarkable achievements.
This year's Sahakara Ratna Award recipient, Sri B. Shantaram Shetty of Barkuru, was felicitated along with other distinguished personalities. Among those honored were Sri Srikanth Acharya of Barkuru, an Udupi District Rajyotsava Award-winning artisan, Karishma S. Sanil and Sri Roshan Lobo of Barkuru for their achievements in international-level sports, and Sri Prashant S. of Ambalapadi for his accomplishments in theatre.
The ceremony was graced by several dignitaries including Sri Srinivas Shettigar, owner of Shettigar Industries Group; Sri Prakash Shetty, President of Yadthadi Gram Panchayat; Sri Satish Poojari, owner of Bennekudru Global Coir Industries; and Sri Praveen Gadiyar of Barkuru, organizer of Rajdhani Trophy 2025.
Members of Santegudde Cricketers, Simhasana Gudde Cricketers, Arya Challengers Barkuru, along with other dignitaries and a large number of sports enthusiasts were present at the event.
Vidwan Sri Damodara Sharma of Barkuru compered the program.
