In yet another heartwarming Independence Day celebration in Barkur, Rotary Ann's Club joined forces with Shishu Mandira and Shourya Disaster Management Group to organize a special program at the Shri Narayana Guru Sabhabhavana, marking India's 79th Independence Day.
The event featured enthusiastic participation from the young children of Shishu Mandira, who presented a variety of cultural programs that added color and vibrancy to the patriotic occasion.
The standout performance of the evening came from Samanvi, a talented second-standard student who mesmerized the audience with her solo keyboard rendition of India's national anthem "Jana Gana Mana." The young performer, daughter of Subrahmanya, former President of Rotary Club Barkur, displayed remarkable skill and confidence as she played the beloved anthem.
The collaborative initiative between these community organizations reflects the multiple ways Barkur has been celebrating this significant national milestone, with various groups contributing to the town's festive Independence Day atmosphere through diverse programs and events.
Such grassroots celebrations, featuring the next generation of performers, continue to strengthen community bonds while instilling patriotic values in young minds across the region.
